SYDNEY - AUSTRALIA'S Health Minister Nicola Roxon on Sunday described as 'horrifying' a report detailing a marked rise in alleged physical and sexual assaults in homes for the elderly. The Sun-Herald said allegations of physical assaults on nursing home residents had jumped by 50 per cent in the past year, and those of sexual attacks had risen 36 per cent over the same time.
