CHICAGO (AP) — Fights happen regularly at the Chicago nursing home for the mentally ill where Gilbert Parham, 51, has lived in a small room for nearly a decade. If the staff can’t break up a fight, Parham said, they’ll call police who intervene and remove one or more residents to a hospital.
