Woman Says She Stole $163K From NY Nursing Home (WCBS-TV New York)

A woman struggling to pay off gambling debts and costs from a failed marriage has admitted to embezzling more than $163,000 from an upstate New York nursing home where she worked as chief financial officer. Rhonda Skiver pleaded guilty to second-degree grand larceny ion Erie County Court and could face up to 15 years in prison at sentencing.
