You really need to see a doctor right away. It sounds like you have some sort of obstruction (possible urethra, bladder, or ureter). The average adult passes approximately quart and a half of urine each day. Since you are not urinating much you could possible develop a condition called hydronephrosis. This is a condition when one or both kidneys become distended (swollen) due to a backup of urine. If hydronephrosis is left untreated, the affected kidney may be permanently damaged. You could also have a renal calculi (kidney stone). Kidney stones may form when your urine becomes too concentrated with certain substances. These substances may create small crystals that become stones. The kidney stones may not produce symptoms until they begin to move down the ureter, causing pain. The pain is usually severe and often starts in the flank region, then moves down to the groin. Pain may be severe enough to require narcotics. There may be tenderness when the abdomen or back is touched. If stones are severe, persistent, or come back again and again, there may be signs of kidney failure. You really need to see a urologist. If you need to be referred to a specialist and you do not have a family doctor or if you can not get an appointment ASAP I would highly suggest you are seen in an emergency room or medical clinic ASAP.
