Embattled nursing home may be sold soon (Post-Tribune)

The prospective buyer for the troubled Northlake Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Merrillville is a newly formed company owned by a former employee and close family friend of the man who currently owns the facility. The Indiana State Department of Health has not yet approved the Northlake sale, which must be completed by Sunday or the home would have to begin a 30-day closure process.
