Pope Returns to Vatican After Surgery, 17 Days in Rome Hosp


March 13 (Bloomberg) -- Pope John Paul II returned to the Vatican 17 days after entering a Rome hospital where he underwent a tracheotomy on Feb. 24. The pontiff is set to resume work tomorrow after he spoke to a crowd below his hospital window today in his first live public remarks since the surgery.
