Man sentenced in Elgin nursing home rape (The Courier News)

A 22-year-old man pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting an elderly fellow patient at an Elgin nursing home, according to the Kane County State's Attorney's Office. Christopher P. Shelton of Elgin agreed to a sentence of 12 years in prison in exchange for a guilty plea to one count of aggravated criminal sexual assault, a Class X felony, the state's attorney office said Friday.
