Cuts force hard look at school nursing (The Times Record)

FREEPORT — The search for creative ways to address major cuts in state aid to education has led one local school district to change the way it provides nursing services to students. The change might not be enough, though, to avoid layoffs as area schools search for strategies to cut costs without undermining the quality of education.
