pregnancy
I miscarried about a week ago. I done a pregnancy test today as my breasts were feeling swollen and tender and it came up positive. Why is this? Are there still hormones from my miscarried pregnancy in my body? Please can someone get back to me as i am really concerend and confused?

Thanks

Have you had a vaginal ultrasound done? Early in my pregnancy I experienced what I believed was a miscarriage. I had all the classic symptoms. My OB/GYN MD drew an HCG level (pregnancy test) to see if a D&C was needed. He called me back to his office that same day stating my test was HCG level was very high. I had a vaginal ultrasound in his office and that is when it was discovered that I had either miscarried 1 fetus or I had an implantation bleed. I was still pregnant with twins and to his amazement he discovered that I had a bicornuate uterus (a heart shaped uterus with a septum dividing it into 2 parts- the twins were on one side). He was amazed that I became pregnant and with twins, possibly triplets to start with. To make a long story short I delivered 2 healthy twin girls at 36 weeks- weighing 4 lbs 12 oz each. We all went home 3 days after having a c-section over 5 years ago. I have 2 very healthy (and a bit spoiled) twin girls.
