Area Nursing Homes Suing State (R News)


The operators of 58 nursing homes around Rochester and the Southern Tier are suing the state over Medicaid reimbursement rates. They claim they are being forced to charge private pay residents exorbitant amounts to make up for inadequate Medicaid reimbursements.
