The Pope, who underwent a tracheotomy to ease acute breathing problems at the end of February, could leave hospital early next week. John Paul II may leave the Gemelli hospital in Rome on Monday or Tuesday, a Polish priest who spoke to the 84-year-old pontiff's personal secretary has said.
