URBANA – The slumping economy hit the Champaign County Nursing Home, which was already pinched financially with a slump in patient census. Michael A. Scavotto, a consultant hired by the county to manage the nursing home, told members of the nursing home board of directors Thursday night that the facility census dropped from 195 in March to 183 by early June.
