Nursing School Interview
Hi Everyone!!
I have a question. I am almost finished with my pre req's for an accelerated RN program I am applying at. I will be going for an interview in a couple weeks. (The interview portion is highly weighted in the decision process) What kind of questions can I expect at the interview??? I AM SO NERVOUS!!! I have been working very hard to do well in all my pre requisites. Any advice would be soooooo welcomed!!
nursing interview
I have not been involved in an accelerated RN program, but as an LPN I was allowed to challenge the first two years by taking an exam. Before I could do this, I had to sit through and interview in which the instructor tried to determine if I was competent enough to challenge the classes or not. In other words, no everyone would benefit from doing this. Not everyone would be able to grasp the material in an accelerated progam. They may want to know if you have the time to put forth for the large amount of study time required. Etc. I'm not really sure, but those are some things to prepare for. Perhaps have a plan for those things that could hinder you, weather, childcare, your current job etc. How will you work around those things to get the classwork done. Hope this helps
