County approves nurse at jail (The Alpena News)


The Alpena County Board of Commissioners approved a proposal that would place a nurse in the county jail for 20 hours per week. The county finance committee approved the measure last week, which Sheriff Steve Kieliszewski said could save money but certainly will save time and reduce stress.
