Longtime Amityville resident and dedicated registered nurse Mary C. Gnecco died Nov. 5, 2008. She was 102. "My mother was extremely healthy and always happy," said her daughter, Lorraine Legomsky when asked about her mom's long life. "She always had a positive outlook on life.
