Hello, I am an RN student set to graduate in may, what kind of advice do you have for a new nurse?

You should be pasient, don't expect to be a great nuse when you graduate. Take your time, the learning prosess is starting 4real when you start to work 4real, you know what I'm saying! And ask for advise, not only from RN, LPN who's been working for a long time, know a lot! Take you time, and allow your self to be new in this game!

Nearly there....
hiya Im a student too, qualifying in september..
Its been a rollorcoaster of a ride and I know its far from over Shocked
hehe
I understand I will only start learning nursing properly when I get a job just like driving really...
I'm hoping to go into district nursing anyone got any hints, tips, thoughts or views on students, newly qualified, district nursing!!!!

Never forget what it was like to be a student nurse or a new RN. If more RNs remember this maybe we will be able to keep more new nurses in the field thus solving the nursing shortage problem. Good Luck :wink:
