Mount Carmel man enters plea for taking mom from nursing ho


The Northumberland County man who took his mother out of a Pottsville-area nursing home at the end of April, less than 24 hours before she died, avoided a prison term after pleading guilty Tuesday in Schuylkill County Court to five charges.
