Nursing schools may be in trouble (Capital News 9)


Hospital based nursing schools across New York may be forced to close, only worsening an already nation-wide nursing shortage. That was the warning passed along by Senator Charles Schumer Tuesday in Albany. Schumer announced legislation that aims to stop the cuts proposed by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
