Schumer says local nursing schools could face funding cuts


YONKERS - U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer warned yesterday that nursing schools at St. John's Riverside Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital could be jeopardized because of federal funding cuts, which so far have affected just four hospitals in the Midwest and Southwest.
