School of Nursing named after first lady of Texas (The Dail


Texas Tech's School of Nursing was named after the first lady of Texas during a ceremony Thursday in the Academic building of the Health Sciences Center. Anita Thigpen Perry attended Tech before the university had a nursing school, and earned her bachelor's degree at West Texas State University.
