A Filipino who tried to pass himself off as a qualified nurse was fined $3,000 by a court in Winnipeg, Manitoba province in Canada. An online report by the Winnipeg Free Press said Edwin Canseco, 37, pleaded guilty to violating Manitoba's Registered Nurses Act by passing himself off as a qualified employee, despite not having proper credentials.
