A 45 year old nurse from Barking, Essex has been struck off the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) register following a hearing by the Conduct and Competence Committee panel into her fitness to practise. Stella Ayerume was employed at Mayday University Hospital in August 2006 when she acted dishonestly by taking annual leave while she began another nursing job at Homerton University Hospital.
