Saturday, August 9 BENNINGTON — Congress recently passed a measure authored by Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt., that would provide a significant boost to nursing education both nationwide and in Bennington County. The provision, included in the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, is part of an effort to combat the nursing shortage in the United States.
