TAUNTON - Shortly after a power failure yesterday morning at Taunton Nursing Home, Patricia Lavoie was sitting in her airconditioned office, listening to the rumble of the generator below. Then the nursing supervisor began to feel dizzy and nauseated, as though she was about to pass out.
