Nursing
Well, we have tons of programs here that offer a variety of prgrams. As you can tell my my title name, I am in school right now. They offer 2 year RN programs, a few 1 + 1 programs where you first become an LPN, then and RN (which I am doing...I recommend the two year RN) and then the additional years for BSN...Masters, and Doctorate...depending. Prices range from $12,000 to anywhere...depending on where you go . What area are you looking for?

RN...
An RN is a Registered Nurse. LPN is just a Licensed Practical Nurse. It's just climbing the ladder of 'success.' Our country needs nurses wherever we can get them. It's hard job, and allot of nurses are older and 'burned out.' If you want to go into oncology, go with it! Do what you want or you won't enjoy what you do in a year... Any other questions?

Ok...How about remuneration? A nurse that begin to work in RN? Where are the best places to work on nursing in USA?
I`m thinking about oncology but I`m not certain yet...this year I will begin the probation (work and learn in hospital with my college) and them I`ll see how area I`ll really like and do forever in my life. I think that oncology needs nurses more prepared, this kind of patient is really difficult...
Do you think that if I come to USA to work and begin mu studies for Masters, or Doctorate I`ll be able to pay my studies working?
And what`s BSN??

PS( thank you for answer me, and sorry if my english are not pretty well... Very Happy )

A BSN is a Bachelors degree, after that is a Masters. Theoretically you get paid more with a BS or Master. However, in reality, if you are a wonderful nurse, you will probably be paid the same as another nurse with a BS. I am almost finished with school. I started in a BS program, however, because there were only 30 selected out of 300, I did not make it because I lacked a foreign language which was required. From there I went to an RN program that is fairly new, but thus far 100% NClex pass rate for the graduates! Big money is California, Massachusettes, and a number of other Northern states. If money is your motivation, the deep South is not for you. Good Luck!

Money is not my motivation, I was talking about oncology, where the best places to study or work on ONCOLOGY ok? So, here in Brazil, when you finish the college you will have BSN degree and them you be able to study and to be a master and after if you want a doctorate....
So, if I go to USA to work on BSN may I do some test or something like that? Or I just need a permission to stay in your country to work?
