MARION – Prosecutors have charged a former nurse with attempted murder in the death of an 83-year-old nursing home resident who was under her care. Virgil Dailey died in January 2003 at Twin City Healthcare in Gas City, where Peggy Couse, 42, of Jonesboro, worked as a third-shift nursing supervisor.
