First for a USI nurse (Evansville Courier & Press)


Laura Hall is the first nurse to be commissioned as a second lieutenant in the ROTC program at the University of Southern Indiana. On Sunday, just before she received her nursing pin, she was commissioned. Hall will head to the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
