Blizzard blamed for death of young nurse (DeHavilland)


A nurse found dead only a few hundred yards from her home could have frozen to death as she walked home, police have said. Shelley Whitfield's body was found face down in the snow in a playing field near her flat in Brandon, near Durham, yesterday.
