URBANA – Champaign County's struggling nursing home will lay off 27 employees next week. Administrator Andrew Buffenbarger said Friday that the positions will come from a variety of departments. He was meeting with employees in general Friday, and will meet individually with staffers Monday. He said he wouldn't delineate positions or savings until he had met with them.
