Nursing home fined $100,000 (Appeal-Democrat)


A Marysville nursing home has been fined $100,000 in connection with the asphyxiation death of a patient. Dorothy Rothacher, 84, was found dead in the early morning hours of May 21, 2007, at the Marysville Care Center, her head stuck between her bed and a bed rail.
