Major nursing home chain files for bankruptcy EH firm runs


An East Hartford company that operates six nursing homes in western Connecticut filed for bankruptcy this week in federal court in Hartford. Marathon Healthcare group, which also operates a home in Springfield, has more than 728 licensed beds in total, including more than 500 in Connecticut.
