It's been years since Bill Ferrer picked up a bowling ball or enjoyed the "camaraderie and liquid refreshment" of a bowling alley. But the 79-year-old Mamaroneck resident hit a spare this month without leaving either his wheelchair or the nursing home where he attends a day program.
