Attorney General Greg Stumbo's office is investigating the death of a Louisville nursing home resident who died about a month after receiving an insulin injection that was not needed. Jefferson County Coroner Ronald Holmes said the investigation was spurred by the death of 86-year-old Marcelline Vale on Aug. 6. Vale, who was not diabetic, was a resident of Parkway Medical Center.
