Olympia nursing assistant loses license, ordered to pay up


A 20-year-old woman has lost her nursing assistant's license after being accused of accepting $145,000 in gifts — including jewelry, a car, a stock portfolio and a trip to Disneyland — from an elderly man before he died at an Olympia assisted-living facility in 2006.
