Trial Delayed in Nursing Home Deaths, Awaiting Supreme Cour


Defense attorneys for the owners of a nursing home where 35 patients died during Hurricane Katrina were supposed to begin laying out their case that the government mismanaged the evacuation Tuesday. Instead, the trial was delayed as the battle over whether a key piece of evidence can be considered by the jury awaited a decision from the state Supreme Court.
