Witness: La. nursing home owners did not call for contracte


The owners of a Saint Bernard Parish nursing home where 35 people died after Hurricane Katrina apparently did have an evacuation plan, including an ambulance service contract to transport residents. But, according to two witnesses, the emergency plan wasn't implemented.
