How to expedite refund from a nursing home? (Miami Herald)


Q: On June 6, I paid Regent Park of Sunrise nursing home $5,720 (a month's payment) for my wife's care. On June 20, she passed away. Approximately two weeks later, I called the billing office to inquire about my partial refund and was told that the company that owned the home was out of state.
