Technology as a teacher - Mannequins simulate health situat


Three Angelo State University nursing students struggled to remain calm as the pneumonia patient before them stopped responding to their questions. He was in respiratory distress, causing his heart rate, oxygen saturation and respiratory rate to plummet. They called for a doctor, who helped them put an endotracheal tube down his throat so that air could reach his lungs.
