St. Vincent buys property for potential Lafayette hospital


Lafayette (AP) -- Indianapolis-based St. Vincent Health has bought 83 acres where a physicians group had planned to build a 140-bed hospital. A St. Vincent official said it has studied the Lafayette market and believes the two existing hospitals need a competitor.
