URBANA – The Champaign County Board is taking steps toward reuse of its old nursing home, vacated early this year. The county board passed a resolution, by voice vote, to start formal negotiations with the Illinois Law Enforcement Alarm System to lease the nursing home as a training center for Homeland Security-related classes.
