Jessica Sitkowski’s year on the hospital ship Anastasis was a life-changing experience. Besides working as a nurse in a post-operative ward, Sitkowski met her future husband, Festus Freeman, a plumber in the ship’s engineering department, while the ship was docked off the coast of Ghana.
