MONTGOMERY | The Alabama Commission on Higher Education is scheduled to vote today on a proposal to go slow in establishing new nurse doctoral programs in Alabama.An ACHE staff proposal to allow one new Doctor of Nursing program and institute a three-year moratorium on starting any others was adopted Thursday.
