Ruth Taylor was a mom on a mission. Time and again she proved it as a devoted mother and a volunteer watchdog for an organization that aids those with disabilities. Mrs. Taylor, a former nurse's aide and cofounder of a group of parents, guardians and families of people with disabilities, died of pancreatic cancer June 12 at her home in New Haven. She was 82.
