Veteran Navy nurse picked to lead parade (The Times Record)


BRUNSWICK — After 30 years of service as a Navy nurse, Lt. Cmdr. Wilda Steinkuhler, 88, will again represent her country Monday when she leads the Brunswick-Topsham Memorial Day parade. The lively octogenarian can still fit into her uniform, which she'll wear as the parade's grand marshal on Monday.
