Conditions 'horrific' at nursing home, state senator says (


A state senator says she's learned that "horrific conditions" at a West Springfield nursing home continued even after a state inspection. The problem at Greene Haven, 910 S. West Ave., spurred Sen. Norma Champion to ask the govenor to have the state Department of Health and Senior Services review its procedures for notifying families of residents.
