Longtime Babylon resident and registered nurse at the Northport veteran's hospital Anne F. McPartland died December 26, 2006. She was 72-years-old. Born on July 29, 1934 in Woodhaven, Queens, she moved to Babylon in 1968 and lived there for 38 years. Until her retirement about ten years ago, she worked in the Northport V.A. Hospital as a Registered Nurse.
