THIRD WORLD NURSING
Hi everyone,
I am a soon to be returning Nursing student. I took about 3 years off to travel the world. My goal is head into Nursing in third world countries, specifically India. I would love to work among the population infected with leprosy. Does anyone know if I could specialize for this? I thought about infectious disease...just looking any wisdom that's out there. Thanks!
I have a friend that does third world nursing in Honduras and she loves it. She went with a missionary group through her church and they helped her getting started. I am sure that there are tons of groups that could help you even if it is not a religious institution.
