Meadows East Nursing Home on Six Mile Lane in Jeffersontown could be without power until noon today, after a wreck about 6 last night badly damaged two utility poles. Power was soon back on at most homes and businesses in the area, but because of the extent of the damage to the lines near the nursing home, its power would take much longer to restore, said Laura Douglas, a spokeswoman for LG&E.
