A gift of $750 has been made to the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice by the Kiwanis Club of Monterey Peninsula, to be used for general support of patients and their families. This year is the 56th year of operation for the nonprofit VNA and Hospice, which makes more than 70,000 nursing visits to patients' homes each year, regardless of their ability to pay.
