ALBUQUERQUE — The New Mexico Center for Nursing Excellence (NMCNE), a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the nursing workforce in the state, has released a report concluding that while the nursing shortage in New Mexico may not be severe right now, there could be as much as a 20 percent shortage in less than 15 years.
